Gordon Harris is a Brisbane-based musician, singer, and voice teacher. With an accomplished career as a performer, he spends most of his time these days sharing his knowledge and expertise with other aspiring singers and musicians.

Gordon began his musical training in a brass band, playing trombone and euphonium. He considers himself fortunate indeed since brass bands are an ideal training ground for those who aspire to a career in music.

During his teen years, Gordon also began vocal lessons to prepare for a successful career as a classical singer.

He continued his music and voice studies at the tertiary level, gaining bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music, singing and vocal pedagogy.

As an adult, he has spent over 50 years teaching music to students of all ages, as well as performing in, and conducting vocal and instrumental ensembles. He performed for many years in musical theatre and opera. He is a former member of the world-renowned group, The Ten Tenors.

As a teacher, Gordon firmly believes that everyone can sing, and everyone can play a musical instrument and that it is never too late to learn.

Sydney-based Singer-Songwriter and Vocal Teacher Helen Rae Glindemann (Helen Rae) has been expanding her local and international fan base since releasing her debut EP ‘You’re the One’ in 2012.

With a background in opera, musical theatre, and pop, Helen Rae continues to evolve her musical style and pedagogical approach.

Passionate about vocal pedagogy and with expertise in teaching across both contemporary and classical styles, Helen Rae is an inspiration to her students, helping them to find their authentic sound and build upon this.  She also encourages her students to explore a range of vocal styles and tonal qualities, and to step outside their comfort zone when selecting repertoire, building flexibility and performance confidence.

In addition to writing, performing and teaching, Helen Rae has worked as a musical director on a range of collaborative projects and looks forward to continuing her work in this field.
